Cy Smith, Founder & CEO
Cy is an experienced entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
Prior to launching AirSage in 2000, Cy was Founder, President and CEO of Advance Technology Corporation (ATC), a pioneer and leader in GIS and GPS‐based solutions for wireless and wireline telecommunications companies. He began his career with BellSouth Corporation, holding positions in network engineering, quality assurance and management.
A graduate of The Georgia Institute of Technology, Cy earned a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He has been recognized as one of Georgia Tech’s “Outstanding Young Engineers” by the Georgia Tech Alumni Association and has received awards from the American Electronics Association for leadership and innovation in technology.
Greg Swayne, Chairman & President 
Greg is a seasoned CEO and entrepreneur with deep experience in technology and healthcare. Prior to AirSage he served as Chairman and CEO of HowStuffWorks International (HSWI) expanding the popular website into Brazil and China and producing rapid organic growth.
Recently HSWI returned focus to the U.S healthcare market, becoming equity owner and development partner for Sharecare. This social Q&A healthcare platform was created by Jeff Arnold, founder of WebMD, and Dr. Mehmet Oz whose popular syndicated TV show reaches millions of consumers daily.
Earlier, Greg was President and COO of HowStuffWorks US, acquired by Discovery Communications in 2007; and he was part of an investor-inserted management team at N2 Broadband, later acquired by Tandberg TV.
In 1990, Greg was co-founder and President of A.D.A.M., a leading developer of interactive information and decision support tools for the healthcare and education markets. Before taking, the company public in 1995, he led development of the dissectible anatomy products for which the company is named (Animated Dissection of Anatomy for Medicine), now a global standard in medical education. Greg also led the strategy for one of the most widely used health encyclopedic databases, powering hundreds of health sites globally.
Nancy Watts, Sr. VP Operations
Nancy has a successful 30-year track record in helping businesses achieve highly competitive supply chain performance. Prior to joining AirSage, Nancy served as Executive VP of Operations at Flexplay Technologies. Under her leadership, the company experienced a 70% reduction in product costs and increased supply chain efficiency which contributed to Flexplay’s designation of “2008 Innovative Vendor of the Year” awarded by the president of the Hudson Group and Donny Deutsch from CNBC’s “The Big Idea”.
Throughout her career, Nancy has developed and implemented strategies which dramatically improved operational performance and greatly increased supply chain efficiencies. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Andrea Moe, VP Product Management & Marketing
With over 16 years in technology, Andrea Moe has her eye on the market and a talent for spotting trends and using technology to address emerging business needs. Her professional experience includes 14 years with Sage, a leading global supplier of business management solutions. Andrea’s tenure at Sage provided experience in many aspects of software development from design to product management to marketing, and led to global recognition for her contributions to innovation and product excellence.
As AirSage VP of Product Management and Marketing, she moves easily between disciplines and extends existing technology to open new markets and create new revenue channels. Andrea holds a B.A. in Marketing (Summa Cum Laude) at Mercer University. Her professional affiliations include the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Association of International Product Marketing and Management (AIPMM).
Matthew Martimo, VP Research & Development
Matthew is a technology development leader and traffic and transportation engineer who has spent his career working with all types of transportation models. He has developed detailed models to analyze traffic control and intelligent transportation systems. Matthew has developed, validated, and applied long-range travel demand models as well as building hybrid models linking traffic microsimulations with travel demand models. He has worked to accurately model the transportation systems in cities as diverse as Melbourne Australia, Edinburgh Scotland, Los Angeles California, Beijing China, Bangkok Thailand, and Fargo, North Dakota.
Matthew is a graduate of North Dakota State University with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
