President and CEO
Michael has almost 20 years of senior executive leadership experience running data, technology and digital media businesses and generating successful results for shareholders and investors. Prior to AirSage, Michael was the President and COO of Forbes Travel Guide, a ratings and proprietary data provider to the global upscale and luxury travel & hospitality market. Prior to Forbes Travel Guide, he served as COO of Discovery Communications’ Digital Media business where he managed the digital platforms for leading cable networks such as Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and TLC, as well as an online digital inventory of over 5 billion page views per year. Prior to Discovery, Michael was COO and GM of HowStuffWorks, a leading online content and digital media business that was successfully sold to Discovery Communications. Michael is a graduate of Georgetown University, where he was a Baker Scholar, and he holds an MBA from the Goizueta School of Business at Emory University.
Chief Technology Officer
Jonathan Silverberg has over 22 years of experience in senior technology management. He is experienced in leading international technology companies focused on development and marketing of innovative products, mainly in the fields of mobile technologies, transportation, and location-based data analytics. Prior to AirSage, Jonathan was the CEO at Decell, a global leader of real-time traffic information specializing in leveraging mobile signaling data as well as GPS data for transportation applications. Prior to Decell, he served as an R&D officer in the Israeli Air Force. A graduate of the prestigious Talpiot Program of the Israel Defense Forces, Jonathan received a B.Sc. with honors in mathematics and physics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and an MBA with honors from Tel-Aviv University. He is also the inventor of several granted patents in the fields of mobile communication and traffic information.
Nancy has more than 30 years of successfully helping businesses achieve highly competitive supply chain and operations performance. At AirSage Nancy is responsible for IT, Process Engineering, Production, and Process Quality. She has accomplished implementing AirSage’s big data infrastructure processing petabytes of data and meeting stringent carrier security, privacy and SLA requirements while also reducing operational costs efficiently. Prior to AirSage, Nancy served as EVP of Operations at Flexplay Technologies. Under her leadership, the company experienced a 70% reduction in product costs and increased supply chain efficiency which contributed to Flexplay’s designation of “2008 Innovative Vendor of the Year” awarded by the president of the Hudson Group and Donny Deutsch from CNBC’s “The Big Idea”. Nancy is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Chief Financial Officer
Alan has over 20 years leading financial divisions in both public and private companies. Prior to AirSage, he served as CFO of Numerex Corp., a leading provider of interactive and on-demand Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and services. At Numerex, Alan was not only responsible for all finance and accounting duties but also managed the human resources, legal and administrative functions as well. Prior to Numerex, Alan was CFO of AirGate PCS, Inc. a publicly traded wireless services company. He has also held executive positions at MCI, including serving as the chief financial officer of Syncordia Services, a joint venture between MCI and British Telecom. Alan received an MBA from Loyola College in Baltimore and a B.Sc. from the University of Wales. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
